Nice quiet site. Down side no Wi-Fi
Lovely little campsite, nice and quiet. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was lovely. There was no club house or anything on site but the town centre is literally a 5 minutes drive away. The shower block was lovely and clean, very happy. We will definitely come back, really enjoyed our time away. Would recommend for a peaceful get away.
We stay at this site and there may have been a few issues early on but the lovely owners and groungstaff have rectified them all. A lot of money has been spent and the place is now a lovely place to spend time. Some peoples reviews are very very unfair and unnecessary. Wayne and Maria do there best to welcome everyone and solve any problems quickly but when people blatantly abuse the facilities what can anyone do. Myself and my wife and my dog love it here and am sure that any decent person who visits will also enjoy it. Please try the site and enjoy the surrounding area......i think you will like it .
Arrived on site to be told reception is closed. Had to walk to other end of the site to find someone to let us in. Not told where anything is i.e. bins, toilets, chemical toilet emptying point. Had to find it ourselves. Our pitch right next to the owners family who put a toilet in a shed which emptied down a pipe into an open drain right outside our caravan. When I complained the lady of the house said it's been like that for two years and no one has complained. That makes it ok then??To be fair they did bury the pipe but the drain was still open so every time they used the loo we were treated to the sound and smell of their contents.Anything but peaceful. A parrot type bird screeched the place down driving us mad. When I complained all I got was it's because it's just lost its mate. The area around our caravan was littered with dog poo. The awning space was paved so we couldn't secure it with pegs except on one side.Driving out was a nightmare because they have crammed so many caravans so close together people have to park in front of their caravans making the driveway incredibly tight.Toilets and showers dirty. No shop on site. All in all........would never go again.
Stayed a week, and enjoyed our stay. Very clean, flat site. We stayed in our tent.. Toilets very clean showers ok. Owners very nice and helpful.. They froze our ice blooks for the cool bag. It would have been nice if they put a fridge in the washing up room for the campers to put their fresh foods. We had a good week close to a lot of places to visit. Happy camper
