My son sat and waited for An Hour and half after This he left as he has learning difficulties and suffers with anxiety, when he tried to get another haircut on 3 different occasions and was told were fully booked!! But yet others were being let in?? He was confronted by my sons father who asked why this was happening?? We were told no haircuts for him, as he cost them money by waiting and then walking out. When trying 2 explain sons anxiety problems we were told its threatening behaviour??? And to get out- Our custom wont be mist as there earning Plenty of Money!! WOW what a cowardly bunch, of unreasonable people. Very unreasonable for people with disabilities or learning difficulties. Poor quality customer service.** In response 2 your reply it was Myself & Husband who called Today (22-05-18) Not our son, in a Second attempt to book him in( as he has learning disabilities whom you banned, for losing you money??!!) trying to explain yet Again, why he walked out after 1.5 hr due 2 his anxiety Problems-No second appointment was offered. We where met with a Point Blank NO from yourselves. We feel this is total discrimination against People with learning Disabilities. If you where reasonable we would not be writing This report. Letting people know how Poor your Service is, an what a bad attitude you have towards customers... if your staff suffered from anxiety surely he would have been more understanding?? There is No need to try and blacken your business??? This is an unsatisfactory event due to Poor Staffing.** thank you for the comeback as for pointing the finger at my sons father what would you say if somebody was discriminating against your son?? PS after giving excuses of your staff having anxiety, you think he would be more understanding?? My son not booking properly, and you were fully booked!! You are now finally offering him a haircut ... if you wouldve done this in the beginning, instead of discriminating we all could have saved our time?? I feel this review needed to be stated for that exact Point. Thank you again for the offer we would kindly decline.
I would like to thank the team at Sink or Swim Traditional Barbering for being so fantastic with my son who has Autism. He is 17 and historically hates getting his haircut but since his positive experience at Sink or Swim he is looking forward to visiting again. The booking facility works really well for him as all we need to do is turn up at the arranged time and there is absolutely no time restrictions as plenty of time is allocated to each customer so that the professional and friendly staff can cater for their customers requirements and carry out a fantastic haircut and service. I felt so relaxed as my son was made to feel at ease that I relaxed in the comfortable waiting area enjoying the music being played and gazing at the interesting artefacts and memorabilia displayed on the walls.
Great customer service! All members of staff are friendly and a good atmosphere in the shop. Great attention to detail when cutting hair and it makes a difference that they take pride in their job and dont just try and get through as many people as possible...they are very efficient and precise with their haircuts, definitely a 5 out of 5 barbers from me.
